Let me tell you the story of Tony
A boy who died so horribly young
Some say he was only a phony
I say he's a hero, unsung

Now Tony was often in trances
He spoke with the Good Lord above
He'd joke that the Lord's name was Francis
But most folks just called him 'guv'

One day Tony lost a good friend
To an accident with a rock
His grief wouldn't come to an end
And his mind kept reeling in shock

He blamed himself for the misfortune
She'd asked him for a sign
They found her dead on the porch soon
After his act most divine

That Tony was a gentle lad
He'd never hurt a fly
The best the world had ever had
Too bad he had to die

He thought that he could right the wrong
By battling evil himself
He prayed to the Lord with a song
And centered his somatic self

He reached in the air with his hand
And fumbled around for the Sword
He swore he'd obey the command
And then he received his reward

He gentled the sword down from heaven
It blazed with a deafening light
He stepped out of Pod #7
And looked for the enemy blight

Then with a start he beheld it
The Destroyer of Forms in the flesh
He swung with the Sword and he felled it
It crumbled before him in death

That Tony was a gentle lad
